We are running an online and postal survey about how we deliver short breaks to disabled children and young people and their families in Sheffield.
The survey will run from 4th December 2017 to 9th March 2018.

What we are proposing to change
This consultation is about proposed changes to:
The Short Break Grant – a one-off annual payment to families up to £400
Special Needs Inclusion Playcare Service (SNIPs) – Saturday, holiday or after school daytime activities in mainstream clubs
Special Needs Inclusion Playcare Service (SNIPs) – Saturday, holiday or after school daytime activities in targeted clubs for disabled children and young people only
To explore the possibility of developing a facility in the city for 16-25 year olds offering both overnight stays and daytime support for young people
Who can take part?
This questionnaire is for all parent carers and children/young people who currently use, have used, or plan to use short break and/or respite services in Sheffield. This consultation is about the potential impact of the different proposals, how they will affect families.
