> Dimensions UK are writing a bid to develop a transitions service for young people with learning disabilities and autism who are currently at residential schools and colleges. The aim of the service would be to avoid unnecessary admissions to-out-of-city and/or institutional settings and to help people to stay close to family. They want to hear from parents whose young person has left a residential school or college, so that their experiences can be used to shape the bid.
