World Autism Acceptance Month
It is an opportunity for everyone to come together and raise awareness, acceptance, and create a society where autistic people are supported and understood.
Whether you’re at home, at school, or at work, your involvement can make a real difference.
It’s about how you show up, whether you’re supporting your autistic colleagues, students, or family members, your actions can help
create an inclusive and accepting world.
Join us in April 2026, (National Autistic Society) help us change attitudes towards autism.
Your support can help create a world that works for autistic people and their families.

The Advocacy Bridge
The Advocacy Bridge CIC provides structured advocacy and navigation support for autistic and neurodivergent adults experiencing burnout, reduced capacity, or significant life transitions.
We support individuals navigating complex systems including benefits, housing, health services, employment, education, and Access to Work.
Many of the people we work with may appear articulate, capable, or “coping” in structured settings, but this can mask significant difficulties with
processing information, organising thoughts, initiating tasks, and following through after interactions.
This often leads to repeated breakdowns in support, missed opportunities, or being seen as “not engaging.”
Our work focuses on this gap.

Hospital Passport
The hospital passport is designed to give hospital staff helpful information that isn’t only about illness and health.
Your passport can include lists of what you like or dislike.
This might be about the amount of physical contact you’re ok with, your favourite type of drink, as well as your interests.
The passport helps all the hospital staff know how to make you feel comfortable.
If you go into hospital, your hospital passport should go with you.
The passport tells the doctors and nurses that they should make a copy and put the copy in your hospital notes.
If you are going to be an in-patient, and stay in the hospital overnight,
your hospital passport should hang on the end of your bed so that anyone treating you can take a look at it.
