Important announcement for unpaid carers in Sheffield
For over 30 years, Sheffield Carers Centre has proudly provided information, advice, and support for unpaid carers in the city. However, due to financial pressures, the Carers Centre is no longer able to continue operating independently and will close. After discussion with the Council, it’s been agreed the best way to protect these vital services and ensure carers continue to receive uninterrupted support is to transfer them to Crossroads Care Charity from 1 January 2026.
Your service will continue as normal
The leaflet attached includes our sincere thanks to all the carers, volunteers and staff involved with the Centre – plus a welcome message from Crossroads Care Charity.
