Adult Autism Online Peer Support Group
Starting this September
Sheffield Autistic Society are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a new online support group. For autistic adults 18+ only – we will meet online over Microsoft Teams. The first session of this monthly group will be on Thursday 25 September from 7pm until 8.30pm: Everyone welcome – new members too!
Please contact Helen for more information at helen.purdie@hotmail.co.uk and she will send you the joining details if you wish to come along and let you have a copy of the group guidelines which set out what to expect at the meetings which are friendly and supportive.
Carers Wellbeing Course
The Carers Wellbeing Course runs from 4 September to 2 October
Running over five weeks, this course is a psycho-educational course which provides the opportunity to meet people who share similar experiences. You will develop and learn new skills that may help in coping with the demands of a caring role. Our Carer Advisors can refer you to an enrolment appointment for this course.

Dads’ Talk & Chalk
Wednesday Night Club for dads and male carers (17 September)
The Wednesday Night Club is an evening drop-in session for men who are caring for a child or young person with SEND. No diagnosis is required. This is an informal session where you can have a coffee, a game of snooker or just a chat in a friendly and inclusive environment.
